Year 5 and 6 football Premier League Cup – Harley

On Friday 18th March, Sacred Heart played at Brierton School Sports field and won three and lost three of their games. In every game, the players played as well as they could and always tried to win the ball back after losing possession. The player of the tournament was Tilly, who played brilliantly in every match. She was given player of the match twice and was strong in defence. She was brilliant at tackling the opposition strikers passing to our forward players. We came joint 4th place overall and the players always kept their heads up and never gave in. Another mention goes out to Lucas, who played in goal in every game and pulled off some very good saves and kept us in many games. To finish, I would like to say well done to every boy and girl from Y5 and Y6 who took part in the tournament, and thank you to Mr Cook for taking us and being referee in some games.
