Primary P.E. and School Sports Funding
The Primary PE and Sports Premium was launched by the Government in April 2013 to raise pupil participation in sport-related activities on the back of the success of the 2012 Olympic Games.
It is a ring-fenced funding to be used by the school to improve the quality and breadth of PE, sport and physical activity provision.
The national vision is for: "All pupils leaving primary school to be physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport."
