Teaching Assistants - Mrs Heckles and Mrs Hansford

This year our English lessons will be based on a book.  These will be:-

Children are expected to read everyday and need to read to a parent regularly and bring their reading record into school.  Children can choose to read using Reading Plus instead of their school reading book but parents must still inform the class teacher.

Homework - this will be given on a Friday and needs to be handed in by Thursday and will include spellings and maths. Homework where possible, will be set and completed via an app/website called Seesaw.  Children will be given their own individual log in and given support on how to access and use the site. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any assistance.

Swimming

All Year 5 will resume in Spring 2 term.

Please make sure your child has their swimming costume/trunks (no baggy shorts), cap and towel. Children must ensure that their earrings are removed prior to swimming.

P.E.

P.E. kit is black shorts/skort/tracksuit bottoms, red t-shirt, black trainers.

P.E. will be on a Monday.

Children need to come into school wearing their school PE kit.
