Our sole purpose is to provide a positive food experience for children, which gives you value for money and peace of mind that our meals are healthy. We provide a wide variety of choice, so there are plenty of options available to choose from. Please take a look at our menu for Autumn Winter 2024.

Our prices are unbeatable across schools in Hartlepool and are priced at £2.20 per meal. This includes 2 courses and 2 sides, a trip to the salad bar, with bread and a drink of chilled water or milk.

Could you be eligible for free school meals?

If your personal circumstances have changed and you are now in receipt of any of the benefits listed below, please either call the school office on 01429 272684 or email admin@sacredheart.bhcet.org.uk and we will explain how to apply.

  • Income Support
  • income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible to Universal Free School Meals.
