On 11th November, the Sacred Heart school community came together for a heartfelt Remembrance Day service led by our Year 5 pupils. With confidence and respect, the children guided the event, sharing prayers, readings, and reflections that reminded us of the importance of honoring those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

Parents, grandparents, and parishioners joined us in the school hall, creating a special atmosphere of unity and remembrance. The service included a solemn moment of silence and the laying of poppies, giving everyone time to pause and reflect on the bravery of our fallen soldiers.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their thoughtful contributions and exemplary behavior throughout this meaningful occasion. At Sacred Heart, we believe in teaching respect, gratitude, and the value of remembrance.
