What an incredible achievement! Our Sacred Heart girls’ football team delivered an outstanding performance at Wembley yesterday, earning the incredible title of National Champions. These amazing girls have shown unwavering determination and belief throughout their journey, never giving up on their dream of reaching Wembley and becoming the best primary school team in the country—and now they have achieved exactly that. We could not be prouder of each and every one of them!
Sacred Heart Girls Head to Wembley
We are incredibly proud to announce that the Sacred Heart Girls’ U11 football team have been crowned North Champions in the NLT Road to Wembley tournament—an outstanding achievement! The team will now go on to compete in the National Final at Wembley Stadium on 10th May, marking a truly special moment for the school. Their journey to this stage has been defined by determination, resilience and teamwork, with the girls giving their all in every round of the competition.
Good Shepherd Mass: Living Out Our Faith Through Giving
Yesterday, a group of pupils from our school, alongside representatives from other Catholic schools across Hartlepool, attended the annual Good Shepherd Mass at St Joseph’s Church. The Mass, held at 1pm, was a special opportunity to come together in prayer and reflection, celebrating our shared faith and commitment to helping those in need.
Easter Egg Raffle Success at Sacred Heart!
We are delighted to share that our Easter Egg Raffle was a great success, raising an impressive £195 for our school fund.
Outstanding Achievement from Our Y5/6 Netball Team!
Our amazing Y5/6 Netball team played tremendously this afternoon, showing fantastic teamwork, determination and skill throughout the competition. They won all of their matches, securing their place in the Super Cup semi‑final — which they went on to win with confidence and composure.

We were delighted to welcome the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust’s Media and Marketing team into Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Hartlepool this week as part of the Media Correspondent initiative. This inspiring project aims to give pupils real experience in journalism, storytelling and digital communication, helping them develop confidence and new skills that will support them throughout their education.
Early Reading Fun!
This week, families at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Hartlepool enjoyed a wonderful Stay and Play session focused on celebrating and supporting early reading.
