Yesterday, the whole school from Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Hartlepool enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Princess Alexandra Auditorium and Friarage Theatre in Yarm to watch the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk — and we had a giantamount of fun!
From the moment we arrived, the excitement was clear. The children were brilliantly behaved and completely immersed in the performance from start to finish.
A Magical Performance Full of Laughter and Fun
The pantomime was packed with everything we love about a festive show:
- Lively singing and dancing
- Hilarious jokes and slapstick comedy
- Bright costumes and brilliant characters
- Plenty of classic “He’s behind you!” moments
The children laughed, cheered and joined in throughout — it was wonderful to see so many happy faces enjoying live theatre together.
Thank You to Princess Alexandra Auditorium
We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Princess Alexandra Auditorium in Yarm for hosting our school. The staff were welcoming and the performance was fantastic — a real highlight of our festive calendar.
A Big Thank You to Everyone Who Made the Trip Possible
Trips like this only happen because of the amazing support from our school community. We are incredibly grateful to:
- Parent helpers and volunteers who gave up their time
- Staff who worked extra hours or adapted their day to support the visit
- Our hardworking catering team, who prepared 135 packed lunches for the children and staff
Your help, kindness and teamwork ensured that the day ran smoothly and safely. Thank you for your continued support — it truly makes a difference.
